Annual General Meeting
L'Association de Ultimate de Montréal cordially invites all members to attend the next Annual General Meeting, which will be held Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Centre de Loisirs communautaires Lajeunesse (7378, rue Lajeunesse, Montréal, H2R 2H8).
*Please note that while a small number of parking spaces are available in the community centre parking lot or on the neighbouring side streets, we strongly encourage the use of public transit (the community centre is a 2 minute walk from the Jean-Talon metro stop on the orange line).

At the meeting there will be: inexpensive beer, promotional materials from VC and the AUM, good music and awesome people! We look forward to seeing many of you there!

Board of Directors
A main focus for the AUM's Board of Directors is the development of Ultimate in the greater Montreal area, and the satisfaction of their members is a priority. The Board of Directors is responsible for major projects, such as the acquisition and maintenance of new fields, the structure of the leagues offered by the AUM, the governance of the association, and its employees.
Are you interested in getting involved in YOUR association? Five seats are currently open on the Board of Directors. It's very easy to nominate yourself - simply fill out the Nomination form and return it to secretaire@montrealultimate.ca by midnight on March 25, 2010.

Pre-registration is open ONLY for 2009 Summer League teams.
PRE-REGISTRATION NIGHT: Pre-registration will be held at 7pm on Friday, April 9th, at Centre de Loisirs communautaires Lajeunesse (7378, Lajeunesse street, Montreal, H2R 2H8). Captains of teams eligible for preregistration must bring:
When you arrive, you will be given a number. After the Annual General Meeting (which should last about 45 minutes to an hour), we will call the captains up in order of their arrival. This will give priority to those captains who arrive early.

2010 Summer League Registration night
Registration of new teams will be held at 6:30pm on Monday, April 12 at the AUM offices (2194, avenue De LaSalle, suite 210, Montréal, H1V 2K8). Teams will be able to register as long as spaces remain for the night they would like to play. In order to register a new team, captains must bring:
The spots that are available for each night will be distributed randomly between the captains that are present that evening.

If, like us, you are passionate about Ultimate, you've probably got a stack of old discs taking up space in your closets. Give new flight to these discs by participating in our new Frisbee Recycling program.
During the Annual General Meeting on April 9th, bring us your old discs that are still in good, usable condition and we will give you a 2$ credit toward the purchase of a new disc*! Your discs will be used to answer needs for the delivery of clinics at the junior level, or as teaching aids for humanitarian projects.
*only one 2$ credit will be applied to the purchase of any new disc, and we reserve the right to refuse any used discs that we do not consider to be in "usable condition" |
