May he rest in peace

Walter Frederick Morrison, the inventor of the famous Frisbee, passed away this week at the respectable age of 90.

Most of you probably do not recognize his name, but all Ultimate players owe Frederick Morrison for inventing the tool of our sport! He invented, in the 1940s, an object so simple yet which consumes much of our lives: the frisbee.

Commercialized in the late 1950s by the Wham-O company, Morrison's ``Flying Saucer`` is one of the most important inventions of the 20th century. Renamed Frisbee after the Frisbie Pie Co., this object has united millions of fans. We would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to Mr Morrison and to wish to you all good frisbee vibes!
