The Montreal Ultimate Association (AUM), in collaboration with the Montreal Regional Sport Association, invite you to a one-day training which will cover Ultimate frisbee rules, techniques and strategies.

  • This training will take place Saturday the 6th of February or Sunday the 7th of February, at your choice.
  • It will be from 10AM to 4PM
  • It will be at Lucien-Pagé highschool (8200 boulevard Saint-Laurent Montréal, Québec, H2P 2L8)

The goal of this training is to give the necessary tools, knowledge and competencies to physical education teachers in order for them to promote Ultimate in schools. The maximum number of participants is 24 per day. The first part of the training will be devoted to presenting the sport of Ultimate and learning the teaching tools to use for teaching the basics (throws, defenses, offenses, basic rules). The second part will aim at putting into practice those basics by playing.

The training course will be given by Jean-Lévy Champagne, the general manager of the AUM, and Julie Tremblay, physical education teacher for the CSDM, with the help of players from the Montreal competitive teams.

The cost of the course is 10$ and includes an Ultimate teaching manual and a free disc!

Registration deadline: Friday, February 5th, 2010, at noon.

Register here.

*both days are conditional to number of participants.  If there is not enough registration, only the Saturday training will be provided.
