2009 Comedy of Errors

Instead of the downpour forecasted for this past weekend’s Comedy of Errors, we were blessed with sunny skies for most of the weekend. 24 teams battled it out, with the finals being held between RIP and Montreal All-Stars. RIP, the Montreal competitive mixed team beat out MONSTER in the semis to advance, and Montreal All-Stars defeated Onyx from Quebec City in the other semis match-up. It was a closely contested game in front of a partisan crowd on both sides! Montreal All-Stars pulled away at the end, winning 15-10, and taking home the trophy for a second year in a row.

Thanks to all participating teams for a hugely successful tournament once again. And I would like to especially thank all the volunteers who tirelessly worked behind the scenes before and during the event and to our sponsors (Fontaine Santé, Huck Apple Juice and Pousse l’Ananas).
