2011 Edition

Last Sunday (May 29th), on the beautiful fields of Parc Champêtre, was held the 2011 edition of the now famous Captains Tournament. The humidity and sporadic showers did not deter the six teams registered to engage some epic battles, where the spirit of the game and lay-outs galore were celebrated.

Lets mention the flawless performance of the Blue team who finished the day with a perfect record of 5 wins and no losses.

2010 Edition

Last Sunday, the annual Captain's tournament took place at the Douglas Hospital. More than 110 players took part, sharing their experience and love of Ultimate in order to kick off the summer 2010 season.

During this amazing day, in addition to playing 4 games, all of the captains who participated received a VC shirt and a magnificent brunch of muffins, bagels, watermelon etc. We would like to congratulate Team Cannes Festival on their perfect 4-0 record. We would also like to thank Team Super-Captains, members of Montreal-based competitives teams who were on hand to share their passion for ultimate with all the participants.

At the same time, a Junior tournament also took place. The junior players were broken into 4 teams, and players will be selected from among the participants to represent Canada at the Canadian Ultimate Championship this summer in Sherbrooke.

A special thanks to our coaches for the event: players from Storm, Mephisto and RIP who helped to pass the torch to our next generation of Ultimate players! We would like to thank all the participants for making this day a great success once again!

Captain's Hat Tournament

This tournament wasn't under the sign of sun and warm weather, but it was full of fun! Here are the final standings for the tournament. A special congratulation go to To-Linh Nguyen who won 3 Spirit MVP stars and to Marie-Hélène Beaulac and Gilles Barbot who won 2 Spirit MVP stars. Thanks to every participant and a special thanks to our Tournament Directors, Véronique Bouchard and Sonia Scalise.
