ASSOCIATIONS THE AUM BELONGS TO

	The mandate of the FQU is to coordinate ultimate at the provincial level. Grouping of all associations within a region under the same corporation. Representation of the interests of all Ultimate players and their regional catchment area associations. Promote and develop the game of ultimate, while conserving its integrity. To build links and relationships with other ultimate associations. For more information, consult the FQU charter.
	Ultimate Canada (formerly The Canadian Ultimate Players Association (CUPA) is the governing body for the sport of ultimate in Canada. Started in 1993, the goals of Ultimate Canada include: Representing the interests of the sport and all ultimate players in Canada Promoting the growth and development of the sport throughout Canada Facilitating open and continuous communication within the ultimate community and within the sports community Organizing ongoing activities for the sport including national competitions and educational programs Promoting sportsmanship and the spirit of the game
	Undertake and support any initiatives that promote the development of amateur sport in Montreal . Represent the regional sport associations within the territory including the nine boroughs of the city of Montreal prior to the amalgamation in 2004. Facilitate the cooperation and coordination of all stakeholders in sports in Montreal. Offer administrative support to Montreal-Concordia sporting organizations.
	Sport et Loisir de l'Île de Montréal is one of unités régionales de loisir et de sport (URLS) recognized in Québec as a regional contact for the Government of Quebec since the implementation of the framework for governmental intervention in the matter of sports and leisure.
