Tryouts 2013

Vintage 2013

In 2013, there will be a masters women's division at the Canadian Ultimate Championships for the first time and Vintage aims to be there! Our goal is to place high enough at Nationals to qualify for a spot at WUCC in Italy in 2014.

Led by a very experienced leadership team, we will use our practice time to hone skills, refine strategies and develop chemistry. Players attending CUC with us must be 30 years or older by December 31, 2013. However, depending on interest, there will be three to five spots available for players who want to compete with Vintage but do not meet the age requirement. These players will be included in practices, scrimmages and all tourneys with the exception of Nationals. We will also have three to five spots available for out-of-town players.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to send us an email at vintageultimate.

Montreal Women’s Ultimate Program

We are proud to announce the creation of the PMSV program, made up of Storm, Mystik, Polaris and Vintage, the four competitive women's Ultimate teams based in Montreal (Quebec). In addition to offering joint tryouts, the program will offer a better framework and structure to the development of competitive women’s ultimate in Montreal.

Why create a committee? To ensure the sustainability of the program regardless of leadership changes, to free up the leadership so they can focus on their main tasks, to promote the development and performance of each team, to nominate and hire coaches, to foster development and progression of players throughout the program, to facilitate the recruitment and promotion of the program and to develop a sense of belonging within the program. To date, the following six subcommittees have been created and will oversee the 4 competitive teams: coaching, logistics, recruitment & promotion, involvement & volunteering, social and fundraising. Moreover, we are happy to announce that Gustavo Castano and Sparta Humphreys will be the official coaches of Storm and Mystik, respectively. For more information on the PMSV Program and on each team, please visit our website.
