Inauguration of Parc Père-Marquette Sud Field

The AUM is proud to invite you to the inauguration of the first official Ultimate field in Montreal. The inauguration will take place on September 29, 2010 at 4 pm, in the presence of the mayor of the borough, Mr. François W. Croteau.

This event will begin with a clinic for students from area schools at 3 pm. The clinic will be followed by a press conference that will include a 15 minute demonstration of the game of Ultimate. Finally, a second clinic will be offered to all attendees to finish off the day.

We need your help! If you are available to play in front of the elected officials and media members, and to assist us with the clinics, please fill out this document.

Parc Père-Marquette is the home of the very first official Ultimate field in Montreal and the AUM is very grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the borough of Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie on this revolutionary project. The AUM hopes that this partnership will lead to the promotion and the development of the sport of Ultimate and we hope to repeat this experienc with other boroughs in the city of Montreal for the summer of 2011.

Phase 1: We rip out all the grass!
Phase 2: We add a lot of earth to level the field
Phase 3: We lay sod to rebuild the grass surface!
