2011-2012 season
Monday night league at Complexe Bois-de-Boulogne in Laval.
The recreational league will have 12 teams, placed in two different divisions: intermediate or advance players will be placed in the 1st division, and intermediate and beiginner players will be placed in the 2nd division. *unpon registration numbers, it is possible that there will be only one division.
Each team will have 12 players: 7 men and 5 women. Registration is limited to 144 players. Teams will be created through a draft process including all 12 captains, after an evaluation night (detail for the evaluation night will be sent to registered players). Players at all levels are welcome to register in this league.
OVERVIEW
- Two different time slots: 9:15pm and 10:25pm (randomly assigned to the teams)
- Two sessions of 10 weeks each are offered:
- Session 1, from Nov.7 to Jan.23 (break on Dec.26 and Jan.3)
- Session 2, from Jan.30 to April 2
- Co-ed 5x5, recreational
- Individual registration:
- $115 / session
- or $200 for both sessions (available only during the Fall registration period)
- 2011 Membership is required for Session 1 (reduced price at $20 for two months, November and December)
- 2012 Membership is required for Session 2
- It is possible to register a team ($1200 / team / session)
- 12 teams, so 144 available spots (84 men, 60 women)
- Two different divisions: 1st for advance and intermediate players, 2nd for intermediate and beginner players
- The captains will proceed to a draft to create the teams (ALL registered players will be drafted on a team)

REGISTRATION:
SESSION 1 and/or SESSION 2:
- To register for Session 1, you must be an active 2011 AUM member.
- To register for Session 2, you must be an active 2012 AUM member.

- 2012 membership fees will be available online starting mid-December.
- Women pre-registration: (in order to help us better calculate the capacity for men's registration): registration will open on Monday, October 3rd, at 11am (approximate time, it could be a bit later, thank you for your patience and understanding).
- General registration: registration will open on Thursday, October 6th at 11am (approximate time, it could be a bit later, thank you for your patience and understanding).
- Registration is on a first come, first serve basis, and will close once full capacity is reached or on October 24th. The AUM may create a waiting list. You will be told if you are registered on the waiting list.
- IMPORTANT: To be considered ‘registered’, you must have completed the player questionnaire AND completed your payment. It is the payment that confirms your registration.
- For people who want to play on the same team: please make sure to mention it in the player questionnaire. But please be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will be playing on the same team.
- For the people who have interest in becoming captain of a team, please make sure to mention it in the player's questionnaire. The AUM will have the final say on captain nominations.
SESSION 2 :
If you have missed the first registration period:
- Registration will reopen on December 15th, at 11:00am.
- Registration will close when the maximum capacity is reached.
COST
Taxes included for each 10 week session, payable through the AUM website by credit card only:
- Session 1: $115 / 10 weeks + 2011 AUM membership
- Session 2: $115 / 10 weeks + 2012 AUM membership
- Combined price: $200 / 20 weeks
