Montreal Jazz Tournament

The 2017 Jazz edition will be held on June 10th-11th between 8AM and 6PM.

This year, the tournament will be held during the Grand-Prix Weekend in Montreal instead of the Jazz Festival Week-end.

What is the purpose of this tournament? The annual Jazz tournament focuses on having the best teams in the North-East of America compete against each others.

Also, we will bring forward the high intensity by creating a schedule where the teams will play with teams from their own level on Saturday (top8 bracket, 9-16 bracket, 17-24 brackets) with cross-overs to give an opportunity to a team to reach a higher bracket.

Registration? Wednesday April 19th 2017 (3 PM) to Monday May 1st 2017 (8 AM).

Where will it be?  On the field of Complexe Sport Absolu / Collège Militaire (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu)

Game format? 7 vs 7

Roster? Your team will have to be composed exclusively of players of 18 years old and older. A spot check could be made at any time during the tournament by our staff.

At team at fault of playing with a player below 18 years old could receive a forfeit loss to the on-going game.

This year, we decided to make some changes for the price. We know many teams don't like to eat the traditionnal tournament food. Therefore, we decided to create packages so the teams can pay for what they want.

The payment link will be sent to the team captain's upon confirmation that your team have a spot in our tournament on May 1st and you'll have until May 15th to pay (careful, extra $50 in fee after May 8th).
